Tom Cox was born in Nottinghamshire in 1975. Since quitting his job as Rock Critic for The Guardian in 2000, he has written seven books, including three about his cats – Under The Paw, Talk To The Tail and the top ten Sunday Times bestseller The Good, The Bad And The Furry – and two about his adventures as Britain’s most inept golf professional. Tom writes a monthly column for The Guardian about his life in the Devon countryside, a column about his cats for Your Cat magazine, a column about golf for Golf International magazine and many book reviews and other pieces for various other newspapers. His hobbies including walking, reading and listening to old folk songs about witches.

Tom will be talking about life with the Twitter phenomenon The Bear, aka @MYSADCAT, and reading extracts from his books and his diaries about his cats and his unusually loud dad. You will also have the chance to purchase @MYSADCAT 2015 calendars and Christmas cards.
