On 1st February, 7.30pm join us for a celebration Muriel Spark’s 100th Birthday with a Spark-a-oke! Come listen to writers Sophia Blackwell, Susie Boyt, Paul Burston, Amanda Coe, John Grindrod, Vg Lee, Karen Mcleod and Virago publisher, Ailah Ahmed as they wax lyrical about their favourite passages and how Spark influenced them. Expect a ghostly incarnation from The Ballad of Peckham Rye with Review bookshop’s very own Katia Wengraf.
