Join us on Saturday 6th December for a fabulous fundraising festive signing day. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served, along with the opportunity to buy signed books from some of the most popular and bestselling authors in the country.
The line-up is as follows:
- 10:30-12.00 – David Nicholls, acclaimed author of ONE DAY and new Sunday Times bestseller YOU ARE HERE will be in the shop.
- 12:30 – 2pm – Holly Jackson, internationally bestselling author of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and brand new adult debut NOT QUITE DEAD YET. Please note: given how popular we anticipate Holly’s session to be, we are limiting it to pre-orders only. Each customer may order a maximum of two books to be signed (with a limit of 100 customers). We hope you understand the bookshop is a small space, and that this ensures nobody goes away disappointed!
- 1pm -2:30pm – Lucy Mangan, the Guardian’s TV critic and iPaper columnist will be signing copies of her new non-fiction book, BOOKISH – a follow-up to the best-selling and brilliant BOOKWORM.
- 2pm -3:30pm – Louie Stowell, author of the fantastic LOKI series for 8-12s, will be doodling, signing, and generally causing chaos for our younger readers.
- 3pm-4:30pm Jessie Burton, author of global bestseller THE MINIATURIST takes the final slot, signing copies of both her adult novels and her beautiful new children’s book HIDDEN TREASURE.
This event has been organised by authors Katya Balen and Ross Montgomery in memory of the beloved bookseller Jonathan Main, to help raise funds for the shop while providing an excellent Christmas shopping opportunity. Only books pre-ordered from Bookseller Crow, or purchased here on the day, will be signed by our authors – this means please do not bring books which you’ve purchased elsewhere.
We strongly recommend you pre-order to avoid disappointment. The final date to order by is 4pm, Monday 1st December. Thank you for your understanding!
Given the anticipated response to the event, it is not possible to order books to be signed/ dedicated to collect at a later date or to be posted. But there will be general signed stock for you to come in and purchase on the day – just be quick!
