A THREE THING DAY – the new show from Ben Moor
Join us on Thursday 30th January 2025 for a wonderful evening of Ben Moor’s new comedy concerning affinity, vertigo and bad phone reception.
“I have always found that arriving somewhere early allows more time to daydream.”
Have you ever had one of those full days where you have something in the morning, something else in the afternoon, and yet another thing in the evening?
Ben has the opening of his new work later – A Periodic Table of The Elephants in the Room – but before that he has to do a spot of babysitting, and before that there’s a funeral. A single day can encompass the past, present and future; friends, family and work; the ridiculous, the moving and the inspirational. Like life.
There’s talk of scones and sconces, hammerhead spaniels, the wool cycle, and gullibility; it’s a story that’s dense with one-liners and jokes that are often daft and occasionally baffling, intricate flights of whimsy, and surreal ideas and imagery.
“Ben Moor, for my money, is the Ken Campbell/Spalding Gray of my generation, a natural storyteller who blurs the boundaries between comedy, theatre and performance art.” – STEWART LEE
“Ben Moor is an English Wes Anderson. His dulcet tones are a paintbrush filling his world with a bright pastel colour palette.” – BROADWAY WORLD on WHO HERE’S LOST?
